“The support of the team from ISS has been instrumental in helping deliver JLU2 over the last 18 months. At SMD 3 new Transformer/Rectifiers were commissioned over 3 weekends involving a complex staging strategy whilst ensuring no loss in operational availability to the Jubilee traction network. 3 further TRUs were then commissioned at other sites. With staged handbacks every week for 12 weeks, the ISS team worked tirelessly in the pre-commission and commissioning phases to ensure a successful handback. The scale of the work undertaken and completed was huge and we were delighted to have ISS as part of our team.”

“We used Industrial Switchgear Services to test and commission two of the new Substation Switchgear Alliance Containerised Air Insulated Switchgear substations and ABB Autotransformers on the phase 4 NWEP route between Salford and Preston in 2017. ISS provided us with commissioning engineers and technicians to carry out various commissioning activities at Clifton ATS and Blackrod ATS which included Contact Resistance Testing, Current Transformer Testing, Voltage Transformer Testing & HVAC Busbar and Autotransformer Pressure Testing. The project has other substations, Autotransformers and HV cables that will need testing in the future once the construction works are complete. ISS are proactive in providing resources for the works and couldn't be any more helpful. The service they provide is exceptional and very professional. They're also very flexible when providing staff for the project. I can't praise them enough for the service they provide.”
